ABOUT D.R. ASSOCIATES ARCHITECTS
We strive to maintain good relations with Franchises and stay on top of their latest prototypes and trends.
The two principals of D.R. Associates have over seventy years experience between them in commercial, hospitality, industrial, institutional, multi-family and residential architecture. This experience includes all phases of architecture, programming, design, specifications, and construction. Our design staff has many years of hospitality design between them, with over a hundred completed projects.
Our projects have spanned Texas, from Orange to Midland-Odessa, to Amarillo to Corpus Christi, to Texarkana, with a lot of cities and towns in between. Normally the owner knows about his local area preferences that we try to incorporate. We have completed scores of projects in and around the Houston Area. Take a look at our Full Project List.

Concept that focuses on the components or elements of a structure or system and unifies them into a coherent and functional whole, according to a particular approach in achieving the objective(s) under the given constraints or limitations.
We provide on-site services to make sure that you are getting the best use and greatest potential for your land use. Hotels and Resorts have very complex site requirements that are not always understood by your local site engineer. Our skilled professionals will assist you in maximizing the design for any given site, including building placement, parking/vehicular and pedestrian circulation, responding to programmatic, functional, environmental and governing agencies' requirements.
The design stage contains a lot of steps: programming and feasibility, schematic design, design development, and contract documents. It is the responsibility of the design team to ensure that the design meets all building codes and regulations.
